Human Family Principles
- The human family now has seven thousand million equal members. We are all relatives of each other in the family of the greatest variety and diversity.
- Within this human family, we do not have one mother or one father to decide for us. When one of us thinks that she is our mother or he is our father, we tell them that they are not.
- We care about all members of the human family as they are our equal brothers and sisters. We do not believe that some brothers and sisters are more important in the family than others.
- We want the human family to live in peace with nature and not to destroy nature that keeps the family alive. We will do what it takes to get nature back as our friend for life.
- There are better ways to stop quarrelling among human family members than killing each other. Civic peace making is one of the best and smartest things we can do for the family.
- All members of the human family should and could have enough to eat and drink. We will do what it takes to reduce starving and personal poverty of family members.
- We will hold a human family council where we can together decide about the most important and urgent family matters. Then we will implement the decisions together.
